The Effect of Shared Governance Educational Program for Head Nurses on Nurses' Organizational Commitment

Background: Shared governance requires collaborative leadership implemented on the principles of partnership, justice, responsibility and ownership. This actually accomplish many benefits to organization improve nurses' organizational commitment level. Aim: study aimed assess effect shared educational program for head nurses commitment. Research design: A quasi-experimental design was utilized in this study. Setting: The conducted at Kafer El Sheikh General Hospital. Subjects: Include all (60), a simple random sample (184) nurses, who were working previous setting. Tools: Three tools used; (I) Governance Knowledge Questionnaire, (II) Professional (III) Organizational Commitment Questionnaire. Results: majority (89.7% 66.8%) studied had high level immediate post follow up phases, respectively. Conclusion: successful lead improvement knowledge phases. In addition, there highly statistical significant positive correlation between total program. Recommendations: Integrating philosophy into values mission through developing set policies that related methods its application. Maintaining supportive work environment promote
